Bonjour!
So our Paris trip is well underway.  We are excitedly planning our days and nights and trying to be sensible about what we must, want and have to do (no cruise for us I'm afraid).  All the Accommodation and Transport is booked which makes it all the more real.  This trip means so much to us, and we know how blessed we are to be able to travel like this.
I am trying to keep the website reasonably up to date so that I can be organised and not miss anything out.  If you have any suggestions please let us know.

As we are only in London for a very short time we want to make sure we have time to see the special people in our lives who live in the UK. 

We will be having a UK Friends and Family gathering on Friday May 1st from 4pm-6pm at The  Marquis Cornwallis

Paris Update

Well there have been some developments in the trip.  Very exciting developments.  Firstly I would like to say Thank you to the recent contributions to the fund especially from my Father and Father-In-Law :)  Now onto the developments.  We are looking at a cruise!
It would be a 12 Day British Isles Cruise with Princess that we would do first followed by 4 nights 5 days in Paris.  That should allow us enough time to explore the city while also allowing an amazing trip to travel to England, Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
Lots to consider and I'm not sure if we are really doing this whole saving thing properly but it is up for debate although decisions would need to be made soon so we can really buckle down with the financials. 

I got some Euro's

Yay, Yesterday in the Mail I got some Euro from my lovely Aunty Linda.  A big thank-you for contributing to the Paris Trip!!  Every little cent gets us one step closer to Pari...

Paris Piggybank

Today I started a Paris Piggybank.  The intent is to save a little extra money over they next year by putting in some stray notes everytime I think of it.  At the end of it I'm thinking I may auction off a prize to the winner of a 'guess how much is in the jar' type of competition.  I think first prize should be a website.  What do you think?

Many things happen when you have a close brush with death.  For me the thing that was foremost was to be thankful for all the wonderful blessings I have in my life.  A close second was the realization that life is short and you have to go out and make things happen.  Something I have dreamed about for as long as I can remember is going to Paris.  
So Steve and I decided for our 5 year wedding anniversary/ 28th & 32nd Birthdays/ Steve Graduation present; we are taking a trip to Paris.  We are looking at eleven days in late April 2013 so I am starting to plan now.  This blog is the process of researching and booking everything as well as a handy-dandy part for any contribution our loving friends and family may like to make.  Starting now (January 2012) we kindly ask instead of presents for birthdays and Christmas for the next two years you donate to this trip.  Every little bit helps and we appreciate your help in advance!
